Ann et Davide partent hardiment

The thing is, if you aspire to go touring in France with your campervan you need to have a fully working vehicle. In our case, Moose came down with a severe case of Engine Management Light (EML). So off to garage #1 who proudly proclaimed the fault fixed because they cleared the fault codes. Not surprisingly, the EML came back again, so off to garage #2 confident that they at least should be able to sort the problem. Long story short, no – the EML reappeared after 5 miles. Finally though, they did sort the issue with some clever re-mapping’ whatever that is…

Now we are just about ready for our first French tour. Ferry booked, van prep’ed, Duo Lingo loaded. What this space for updates!!!

Loading has continued despite the gale force winds and torrential rain. Now less than 24 hours to go and we’ve been to Tavy for last minute bits… scary and exciting in equal measures! (and the trip to France!) .

Ok so we duly arrived at Plymouth in plenty of time for the 20:00 hrs ferry to Roscoff. Still very much excited but scary at the same time…

Embarkation came seemingly hours after just about every car going to France had checked in first…last laugh of course as we we virtually the first off!
